Music Monday: Fearless by Jasmine Murray
As I stepped out of church, all around me was an eerily calm, green sky. Having spent my early childhood in the Midwest, I know green skies mean trouble. Twenty minutes from home in the hills of Austin was not where I wanted to be. Minutes later I was driving through torrential rain, with the wind slamming into my car, thunder roaring constantly, and wondering how many creeks crossed the road between my home and me. The radio was filled with emergency alerts, and then this song came on the radio.
Even in the hardest storms, we have reason to sing.
