Music Monday: The Saint That is Just Me

I am so very imperfect. I mean, truly imperfect. I want to be like so many of the amazing saints I have learned about, and most times I just can't. For sure, I can't be like the whitewashed perfect stories about them. But, when I look closer, most of them are pretty much imperfect. Their perfection comes from giving all of it over for God to mold, direct, and use as was needed in His most perfect plan.

It's hard to be grateful for my weaknesses and faults, for my failures and stumbles along the way. Really hard. But then a song like this comes along and helps me find that gratitude. It is in our weakness that God's strength is most apparent.

May we all discover how we are to live out our own personal sainthood.
